A few days ago (actually, more than a week ago!), I posted a fun "caption this" blog, then never followed up with the winners. I couldn't choose myself, obviously, so I engaged a neutral party who chose the following winners.
For the photo of our cat Gemma on top of the kitchen cabinets, the winner is Martha with "I see you down there." Martha and Gemma have never met but this cation suits her perfectly.
For the second photo of the snowy trees, the winner is Tamara with "Leise rieselt der Schnee." Runner up was from a guest comment "Peace and Tranquility"

I love how much fun this wound up being. From reading the captions as they came in to writing this simple blog, it brought a smile to my face and got me thinking about how we can find something beautiful in unexpected moments. To pull inspiration from our UBC leader, Paul, it created a lovely moment of gratitude for the experience of it all.
