The January Ultimate Blog Challenge kicks off today and I am so excited to leverage this challenge to write about one of my other favorite month-long events - Veganuary!
First, if you're not familiar with the Ultimate Blog Challenge (UBC), it's a great (and FREE) way to drive traffic and engagement to your website. You're also adding daily content that you can repurpose! The challenge is run quarterly so you have multiple opportunities each year to leverage this challenge and get new eyes on your website. I never thought I would write blogs, but, thanks to the many times I've participated in the Ultimate Blog Challenge, I have now published 200 blogs! (Including this one!) Since it's only Day 1, you can still sign up for the UBC by clicking here.
I'm excited to dive into the Ultimate Blog Challenge this month with a focus on Veganuary.
For the 31 days in January, Veganuary participants pledge to eat vegan food and explore veganism beyond their plates. By the end of the month, those involved have gained a deeper understanding of veganism, what it is, why people embrace this lifestyle, and what it means for the health of humans, animals, and the planet. Click here to learn more about the Veganuary movement. Click here to sign up for the Veganuary emails and get their free e-cookbook too!
Through the Ultimate Blog Challenge this month I will pull from Veganuary guidance and share my own stories and thoughts, while also sharing tips and suggestions to make going vegan the easiest transition you've ever made. I will also link you to podcast episodes or previous blog entries I think will be helpful, and will throw some recipes in for good measure.
Welcome back to all of my fellow UBC participants, I'm excited to write with you again.
To all of those readers exploring Veganuary, enjoy it! This is a beautiful way to live, I think you'll get a lot out of the month you'll spend learning and trying new things. Please share your vegan related questions In the comments or just say hello, I'm happy to offer any support I can!

What a great way to kick off the new year, KW! I love how you're combining the Ultimate Blog Challenge with Veganuary—it’s such a creative and meaningful approach. Your enthusiasm for both challenges is truly contagious, and I can't wait to see the tips, stories, and recipes you share this month.
Congratulations on reaching 200 blogs—that’s an incredible milestone! It’s inspiring to see how much you’ve accomplished through UBC. Veganuary sounds like an exciting journey of discovery, and your readers (myself included!) are lucky to have your guidance and insights along the way.
Looking forward to diving into your posts this month and maybe even trying out some of those recipes. Here's to a successful January filled with vegan adventures…
Great to see you back, Kimberly! Happy new year 🎉🍀💖🥂🍾 I started off Veganuary with a definite cheat day since there were leftovers from New Year's Eve's dinner, inluding some yummy cheesecake. Tomorrow doesn't look good either - we're invited to a Raclette night 🙈 At least I can say I'll stick to vegetarian.
That's neat that you offer weekly meditation! And I am glad to be back, too, writing with you and others for the UBC. I'm planning to take long weekends, though, so will only post during the middle of the week. Looking forward to your posts about being vegan.
Welcome back to another UBC! I'm not vegan but I do enjoy some of your recipes and looking forward to the blogs.
That's quite a challenge. If y work schedule wasn't so crazy, I might give it a try. I am thinking this might be a yearly event - so hoping for less chaos next year where I can give it a try
